Animals
In morning light the robin greets the day,
Soft paws of kittens pounce and leap to play.
A slinking fox slips by the garden gate,
Silent as secrets carried by our fate.
At noon the herds move steady over plains,
Their hooves compose a rhythm like the trains.
Beneath the waves the dolphins weave and gleam,
Turning salt and sun into a silver dream.
At dusk the kestrel circles, finding home,
While foxes pad the lanes where children roam.
Night wraps the fields and whispers to the bee,
Reminding every heart we're kin, and free.
